Preparing To Be A "1-2-1 Connector"

In Brief - "What is expected of you."

Pew Internet and American Life reports, "more people have gotten religious or spiritual information online than have gambled online, used web auction sites, traded stocks online, placed phone calls on the Internet, done online banking, or used Internet-based dating services." Therefore, never underestimate the importance of what you are doing as a "Connector".  We believe God has called you to this important ministry!  You are part of God's Great Commission to go and "make disciples of all nations", you are going, but you are going through the internet via 1-2-1 Connections!

1-2-1 Connectioners training for online evangelism and discipleship is designed to help you as a Connector be prepared to effectively share the Gospel online. People are turning to the internet as never before seeking answers to life's quesitons.  We want to share the love of God with people and help them to become mature and devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Some practical things you can do as you prepare to be a "121 Connector":

1) Become familiar with the 1-2-1 Connector's Messaging System.

Many questions people ask, have already been answered! They can be found in our 121Tools Knowledge base.  Many people are looking for a good church to attend, you can help them with our Church Finder Tool.  For those looking for churches outside the United States let us know and we can help them as well by contacting leadership in other countries.

2) Review all the posted training materials.

We have tried to provide all the information you will need to  begin your ministry as a "Connector".  At 121Tools.com you will find a slide show that will take you step by step through the process, explaining all about the web site.   Be sure to look at the "User Instructions and Helps". We try to update these training tools and helps as needed.

3) Understand the Mission of 1-2-1 Connections:

a. First, we seek to connect people to Jesus in an ongoing relationship, (Matthew 28:19) and then,
b. We seek to connect them to a local church in their part of the world. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

4) If you don't understand something ask!

We are here to help you as you help others!  You can contact us by phone at: +1 417- 866-6767 or e-mail at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

You are about to participate in one of the most exciting evangelism and discipleship outreaches of the 21st Century.  As of Feb 2015 we have had 15,354,463 people that have logged on to one of our

internet websites. 180,416 of those have submitted their personal information wanting  someone like you to contact them!   Many are hurting, wanting someone "out there" to "hear their heart" and to care.

One of the advantages of Internet evangelism is the sense of anonymity. This allows for those who are looking for answers to life questions to be more vulnerable and open in their search for help and truth. They will share things with you as a "Connector"  that they would probably never share with someone in person.  Often you will need the direction of the Holy Spirit as you search for just the right word to share with someone who is hurting.   Remember as God speaks through you his promise found in Isaiah 55:11 - "It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everwhere I send it."  God loves that "Inquirer" that you will respond to and He will work in their heart and He will do it through you!

May God bless you as you embark on this exciting journey!
