Freedom Bible Verses

John 8:31-36 "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." They answered him, "We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, 'You will become free'?" Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

1 Cor 7:39-40  "A wife is bound for so long time as her husband liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is free to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
But she is happier if she abide as she is, after my judgment: and I think that I also have the Spirit of God."

1Cor 9:19  "For though I was free from all men, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more."

Rom 6:18  and being made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness.

Gal 5:1  For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.

Heb 13:5  "Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee."

1Pe 2:15-16  "For so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God."
