You ask 'why does it take long to be answered?

There are two forces at work in our world. God and Satan.

When we pray, usually we are answered almost immediately.

Sometimes God says yes, sometimes He sees what we ask for is not good for us, and He says No!

Sometimes He says, Wait. God knows best and always answers in the way that is good for us.

There is also the work of Satan, who with his evil angels seeks to oppose the answers God sends.

In the Bible Book of Daniel we read that Daniel prayed, but it took 21 days for the answer to come because of interference by Satan's Angel Prince of Persia.

One thing I know for sure, when anyone calls upon the Lord for Salvation, He answers immediately and you are saved. Romans 10:13  You may still need to get together with other followers of Jesus and learn to walk with Jesus, and be encouraged.
