Who Is Jesus?

 Advice and scriptures on who Jesus is.

You wrote: "Who is Jesus?"  

That is a very complicated question, but can be answered simply by saying, He is the One God sent into the world to bring salvation.  

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that who ever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life."

That means that Jesus is the Saviour of the world. He offers salvation to anyone who will call upon His name.

John 14:6 records Jesus' own words,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me." He is your access to relationship with God.  He is the one who forgives the wrong we do and He is the one who paid the price of our sins by going to the cross. The Apostle Paul wrote about this saying, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Can you explain what you think God's plan for your every day life is?  As you think about the question, please remember this truth from the Bible:  "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John 3:16-17).
