Basic Facts on End Times events.

Thank you for your question.   I will try and give you a brief overview of what is about to happen.

 We we are living in the last days.

Soon we will hear the trumpet sound which will signal the return of the Lord Jesus to rapture all those who have died as believers and all who are alive on earth to be with him forever.  

For a period of about 7 years after the rapture, there will be great tribulation here on earth. 

Not all Bible scholars agree totally on the sequence of events, but at the end of this period, Jesus will return with all of those who are with him. Christ will take full control of events here on earth and we will rule and reign with him for 1000 years.

At the end of the 1000 years

Christ will subdue Satan and cast him and all his demons and all those who did not believe in Jesus in to the lake of fire, which is hell. A new heaven and earth will then be created and will be with the Lord forever.

Hopefully you have a Bible, if you do, please read Luke chapter 21 and Mathew chapter 24 and see if you can identify some of the signs that are pointing to the soon return of the Lord Jesus. Then go to 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and read about the hope of ever believer.
