The Believers Hope - Heaven

The first step is in knowing there is no one who is good enough in the sight of God. The Bible says in Romans 3:10 "as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one.""

The second step to salvation is acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of God's saving grace and mercy. In Romans 3:23 the Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

The third step is for you to understand that God loves you despite your sins. Romans 5:8 "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

The fourth step is for you to know salvation is the provision of God for you through His son Jesus Christ. You are saved by faith, not by works. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,  not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

The fifth step is you must repent of your sins. Mark 1:15 "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;  repent and believe in the gospel."

The sixth step is to believe in Christ and confess your belief. Romans 10:9-10 "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

The seventh step is salvation! Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Acts 4:12 "And there is salvationin no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
